First, to transform the urban planning design of the Times Plaza as a space for recreation, food and community gatherings.

Second, to build a sense of community within that neighborhood through a narrative storytelling app that will record the stories and memories of long-term residents which will be accessible at the Times Plaza. The application will overlay audio narratives on stickers to geo-locate memories in the locations where they occurred. The application will also allow users to check out archives of images of buildings from different years linking the oral history to images of the changing built environment.
